We are equipped with an onsite laboratory to perform various pathology tests within the hospital. Some examples include blood tests, urine tests, ear and skin samples and cytology. We also engage the services of a large external specialist laboratory whom provide a prompt and efficient service. We have the benefit of a whole team of trained pathology specialists to liase with regarding your pet’s results, should this be required.
Sometimes a full physical examination is not enough to determine the correct treatment for your pet, and blood or urine testing may be recommended by one of our vets. This can provide more information about the inner-workings of your pet and help determine what the problem may be, so that we can make a treatment plan.
